From October 2 to 4, the 26th edition of the Coffee Seminar organized by ACARPA (Association Coffee of Growers of Patrocínio Region) will be held in Brumado dos Pavões Exhibition Park, in Patrocínio city, MG.
The event, which is one of the most traditional ones in the Brazilian coffee agribusiness calendar, has a busy schedule of debates and workshops besides the exhibition of agricultural machinery focused on coffee production.
Jacto will be present in the fair one more time and it bets on embedded technologies in its harvesters: “Our machines are recognized in the market for the innovations and benefits they provide to producers”, comments Armando Maran, Sales Manager for the coffee harvester line.
K3500 harvester has functions and innovations that save around 33% over the traditional harvesting operation. Developed to work in traditional and dense crops with up to 2.50 meters between rows, the harvester has two 1,500-liter tanks with a simultaneous discharge system that discharges the harvested coffee without interrupting the operation. It also provides higher productivity, reduced maneuvering time and tractor and trailer savings.
The harvester also has a new shaker system that enhances the equipment performance with low damage level to the plants. The system is assembled over a new opening adjustment system which, besides making cleaning easier, allows quickly adjusting the equipment to the different plant sizes. It also has a simple adjustment system that can increase shaking capacity up to 10% and at the same time reduce harvesting time in 20%. The harvester’s low gravity center which allows it to work in tilted terrains with up to 20% slopes, and its electronic engine which requires less fuel consumption and has lower levels of pollutant emissions are some of its other functions.
